What to Submit

When submitting Permission to Operate (PTO) documentation for the Activation (M3) Milestone: Provide proof of PTO from the utility, such as a letter/email or a screenshot of the utility portal showing the current status.

  • Most Common: Most utilities will send an official letter or, more commonly, an email or notification from the system confirming PTO.
  • Common: Some utilities that don’t provide formal notifications may still accept a screenshot from the utility portal confirming PTO.
  • Uncommon: In rare instances where the utility does not provide any visible confirmation of PTO, the affidavit below can be completed and submitted.

 

PTO Affidavit - Not common 

The following affidavit is used to notify Skylight Lending when the local utility does not issue a formal permission to operate notice.

This situation is very uncommon and should only be applied when the utility does not provide any official proof of PTO.

Once completed, this document can be submitted as a substitute for the usual PTO documentation in the Activation M2 milestone.
