A quick reference for what each role can and can't do on the SKY Portal — including the two new non-selling roles, Ops Admin and Ops Manager.

CPUC signature eligibility is based on who created the deal, not their role — Sales Rep, Sales Admin, Sales Manager, or Installer can all sign if they created the Opportunity/Lease. Ops Admin and Ops Manager can never sign, regardless of branch.

Unlike deal origination, Ops Admin and Ops Manager can submit NTP documents, milestone docs, and milestone comments just like selling roles. Sign Work Order at NTP is the one exception — that stays limited to Installer, Sales Admin, and Ops Admin.

Only Installer, Sales Admin, and Ops Admin can create or edit branches. Sales Managers and Ops Managers can invite users, but only within their own branch. Sales Reps can't create branches or invite users at all.

Ops Admin and Ops Manager can never originate a deal, run Prequal, send a Prequal invite, send a Lease Application, or sign a CPUC form — regardless of branch. Sales Verification applies exclusively to selling roles: Sales Admin, Sales Manager, and Sales Rep.
